Autism Education Series: #3

In collaboration with the Opening Doors PTA of Burlingame, CATCH Clinic is delivering a six-part educational series for parents of children with autism. This course is designed to help parents, educators and professionals learn about Autism as a neurotype instead of a medical or deficit model. The differences in autism wiring affects sensory, social, communication, lifestyle and learning preferences. The short presentation format includes video presentations, discussions, question and answer. We hope to help parents understand, accept and appreciate their child’s differences as unique traits to explore and develop as future talents

Opening Doors has sponsored this educational series and has graciously opened up registration to all families in the Bay Area who wish to learn more about a relationship-based approach to Autism.
